"Sean is an amazing artist. He was willing to learn some new songs for my wedding and was easy to work with. Sean is very reliable and a hard worker. Having Sean do the music and my wedding really made the day memorable. I would definitely recommend Sean as a performer."

"Sean is a very gifted artist, easy to work with, great communication and is very reliable. We asked Sean to sing and play guitar during my wife and I's wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. We asked Sean to learn a few new songs to play for our dances and as our wedding parties walked down the aisle. He worked very hard to prepare and the quality of his music helped to make the day a really memorable one. Sean really went above and beyond to make us feel certain about the big day, even sending us videos of him singing our songs weeks before the wedding to get feedback from us. I would definitely recommend Sean as a wedding (or any event) performer as you will get a high caliber artist but also a reliable communicator and planner as well. "

"Sean is an outstanding musician. Sean was so willing to perform at our wedding ceremony, and it was an honor to have him. We had about 300 guests at our wedding and guests still rave about Sean’s performance. He played “Somewhere over the rainbow” by Izzy and it moved everyone. He displays confidence, modesty and a creative vocalist who has such peaceful and wonderful voice. Sean was also very easy and amazing to work with when it came to the sound equipment needed, it was a breeze to work with him on the technical side of things, he made it so easy for me to understand what he needed in order to preform and our DJ team was so great at making that happen. Sean comes with years of experience, a wealth of knowledge, plays a great variety of songs and the most amazing personality and voice!"

“Sean is an amazing musician who is very good at reading the crowd and interacting with them. He has a long cover-song list that he takes request from, but he also plays really good originals. Sean is always punctual and if he ever needs to reschedule he is very communicative. He’s a talented, fun loving musician who is also responsible, which is hard to come by.”

"Sean Kavanaugh is an excellent musician and a great performer. He would always merge himself with the environment in the taproom, making the experience for the customers very pleasant. Sean is very easy to work with, self sufficient and would be available for last minute opportunities to play at our establishment."

'My partner and I had the pleasure of having Sean Kavanaugh perform at our wedding in 2018. He was phenomenal and completely surpassed our expectations! Sean was patient and accommodating to all of our requests. He played our chosen song as we walked down the aisle and it couldn't have been more perfect.

I have also had the pleasure of watching Sean perform in many different venues in the (Missoula) community. His ability to perform so many genres is a testament to what an amazing performer he is. I highly recommend Sean for any event."

-Sarah and Sam Gittins, 2018

"Sean Kavanaugh is an outstanding musician who inspires people with his original music,  and brings new life to songs we have all enjoyed. Sean interacts with people in a way that brings energy to the venue and the individuals present. Sean is professional, adaptable and reliable."

"Sean Sean is a very talented and professional performer. He played “I Will Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie as we lit a unity lantern in front of 150+ guests during our wedding ceremony at the Coeur d Alene Resort Hagadone Event Center. Sean’s professionalism and musical talent was not only extremely appreciated, but also put to the test, when we accidentally set our unity lantern on fire as he was performing. Sean didn’t miss a beat, and he continued to sing as if nothing was wrong. Some guests even mentioned they didn’t notice the lantern was on fire, and I credit that 100% to Sean’s performance. I would recommend Sean to anyone! He takes true pride in what he does, and he is dedicated to deliver exactly what is expected by the bride and groom, no matter the size, formality, and religious/cultural traditions of the event."

For venue performances, I am willing to negotiate rates. For
private events and wedding cocktail hours, I charge a base rate of $225 an hour and additional charges for gas miles if I need to travel more than 50 miles.

For full wedding services, I charge a base rate of $1,000 ($1,250 in June, July, and August) to play the extent of your wedding. This includes me brining two Evolve 30M 1,000 watt column PA speakers. This PA system will also work well for MP3 music if you are wanting specific songs to play at any point in the night or a playlist to be played during breaks. I also have song lists for your guests to request songs directly to my phone from a QR code (see my song in video page for my song list) if this is desired. Song list can be modified to only include the music  that is desired by you and your guests. I am also willing to make announcements and allow the officiant or anyone making toasts to use my wireless mics and PA.  If you would like me to play in the ceremony, extra fees will vary on how many songs you would like me to perform and I am willing to negotiate a price! If you want me to learn a song that is not on my list for either the ceremony, first dance, or any other part of the event, I charge 75 dollars a song and ask for at least two months to learn the songs to make sure it is ready for the big day! Lastly, I charge 60 cents a mile for driving and a 10% retainer fee of the total negotiated fee.
