He played “I Will Follow You into the Dark” by Death Cab for Cutie as we lit a unity lantern in front of 150+ guests during our wedding ceremony at the Coeur d Alene Resort Hagadone Event Center. Sean’s professionalism and musical talent was not only extremely appreciated, but also put to the test, when we accidentally set our unity lantern on fire as he was performing. For venue performances, I am willing to negotiate rates. For
private events, I charge a base rate of $225 an hour and additional charges for gas miles if I need to travel more than 50 miles.
As for weddings, I am currently just doing cocktail hours. I charge $350 an hour for play time. I do not charge for driving or set up, or breakdown time. This includes me brining two Evolve 30M 1,000 watt column PA speakers. This PA system will also work well for MP3 music if you are wanting songs to be played during a 10 minute break (for playing 2 hours or longer). I also have song lists/books for your guests to request songs directly to my phone from a QR code (see my song in video page for my song list) if this is desired. Song list can be modified to only include the music that is desired by you and your guests. Lastly, I charge 60 cents a mile for driving any amount of miles over 50 miles from my home in Spokane and a 10% retainer fee of the total negotiated fee
